Urea : as cleansing of uterus with proteolytic activity It removes necrotic debris and it makes uterine medium alkaline and checks microbial growth
Nitrofurazone : It is a potent antibacterial, antiprotozoal agent and hence indicated in uterine infections of various etiology.
Metronidazole : an antibiotic with specific activity against anaerobic bacteria and protozoa. Povidone iodine : non-irritant non-staining and excellent antiseptic.
